'Handel and the Darkening Moon' is the story of George, a refugee, who is suffering from a brain tumour, He thinks he is Handel. Handel's life is explored in a wonderfully original, imaginative, and sometimes humorous form, using lyrical language and images, plumbing the depths of emotion and memory, and including some of his most beautiful music.  The audience is taken on an intriguing journey, full of unexpected twists and turns, culminating in a surprising and moving ending.

The play premiered in Bristol, at The Brewery at the Tobacco Factory, from the
6th – 10th, and the 13th – 17th January.
